1. Legal framework
This Service is committed to accessibility in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) of 16 May 2025 (BGBl. I 2025 Nr. 105), which implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549.
2. Conformance status
This Service is designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust in accordance with WCAG 2.1, Level AA. Specific measures include:
- Semantic HTML elements (header, nav, main, footer, section, article, aside);
- Sufficient colour contrast;
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements;
- Keyboard navigation throughout;
- Reduced-motion preference honoured (
prefers-reduced-motion); - Touch targets ≥ 44 px;
- Text-resize without loss of content;
- Right-to-left rendering for the Arabic locale using
dir="rtl"; - Multilingual content with proper
langattributes andhreflangannotations.
3. Known limitations
- Older PDF documents, if any, may not be fully accessible; the website itself contains no PDFs.
- Third-party fonts loaded from Google Fonts may briefly fail to render on slow connections; the system falls back to system fonts.
